I bought a hotel on Blackpool seafront six years ago and wanted more than just accommodating guests. As an ex PE teacher I feel there is a fantastic opportunity to impart knowledge gained over a lifetime of keeping in shape, to take classes, operate workshops and provide residentials, using a number of experienced specialists to reveal their best and easy to manage techniques.

This residential teaches methods of exercise and relaxation including Yoga, Pilates, Reiki and massage as well as discussing a healthy diet.

In the workshop you do as much or as little as you wish, this is a learning exercise to motivate and encourage exercise and relaxation at home or in the gym, the objective is to set a routine which you can keep for the rest of your lives.

Relaxercise Workshop


The tremendous advantage of this course is that the residential is about learning and enjoyment with the physical workout a bonus.

There are numerous opportunities to take part in classes, one to one tutorials, and individual physical activities. All sessions are completely optional as long as you leave having learnt some techniques that would suit you when you get back home then we would call that an achievement.

We hope that these motivational activities will encourage most people to take part and enjoy. You don’t have to do everything and you go at your own pace and ability.

Your muscles maybe stretched to a pleasant pain but never to a point where they hurt. We aim to finish our physical workshops with a feel good warm down and not making you feel physically sick. Why push yourself to the limit you’ve got the rest of your lives to keep fit.
This residential also gives you the opportunity not only to but also take part in different ways to exercise, but to discuss complimentary and alternative medicine, such as Reiki.
You will also have the opportunity to take part in our Pilates class focusing on stretching and strengthening your core improving your posture, balance, flexibility and focus.


Please be aware that these workshops are not for pampering, luxuriating, nor are they chosen for the star ratings of the hotel, they are practical educational workshops in comfortable surroundings and in a practical Blackpool seafront hotel.


You will also have the opportunity for free time where you can either enjoy highly reduced rounds of golf at local courses, wander into Blackpool to have a look around the shops or practice your newly learned techniques perhaps in the privacy of your room to be sure you are comfortable with them before you leave. There will always be somebody about to ask or reassure.


You will also be shown how to live a healthy lifestyle from watching your diet and knowing what to eat, starting with a calorie count at the hotel where you will be told exactly how many calories you have consumed and advice about the best ingredients to use. Our aim is to encourage healthy eating, not to become obsessive with calorie controlled diets.

Tuesday to Thursday £99 per person
Monday arrival an extra £25ppp Friday departure an extra £25pp
To include wine tasting for 2 nights add £15pp, includes wine with meal.
For massage and 1 – 2 learning techniques add £20pp
We also occasionally, when he’s in town, have our very own Reiki and psychic to the stars, we normally ask for a voluntary donation for this
